Coltura is an independent digital studio in Didsbury, Manchester. We design and build websites for ambitious UK businesses, and we judge every one by the work it brings in.
How we work
Think first. Then build well.
A good website starts with a clear idea of what your business needs to say, who needs to hear it and what you want them to do next. We work that out first, then design and build around it, so every page has a job.
Every project follows the same six stages: discovery, strategy, design, development, testing, and launch with ongoing support. You know what happens at each stage, roughly when, and what we need from you. It is about 14 working days from agreed direction to launch.
We measure our work by one thing above everything else: whether your website brings in work. Calls, enquiries and booked jobs are the test, and every design decision is made against it.
And it stays yours. Your domain, code and accounts are in your name, wherever the site is hosted, and you are free to leave whenever you like. If you stay with us, it will be because the website is working for you.

It all starts with a leopard gecko called Custard.
Coltura was founded by Adam with a simple belief: ambitious businesses deserve exceptional digital experiences without the complexity and overhead of traditional agencies. The gecko in our logo has a story, so here it is in his words.

The gecko in the Coltura logo is Custard. He was my leopard gecko, and weirdly, he is probably the reason Coltura exists at all.
