Google Ads for tattoo shops

Google Ads management for tattoo shops, for clicks that turn into calls.

Ads show quickly whether your website converts, and money spent sending clicks to a weak page is lost. That is why the site comes first and the ads come second.

For tattoo shops

What it means in your trade.

Most established studios do not need paid search, because reputation and portfolio carry the work. Broad adverts for tattoo shops tend to attract price-shoppers and small walk-in requests. It can be worth testing for a clear, higher-value need, such as cover-ups, or laser removal if you offer it.

Bid on those specific terms plus your area, and exclude searches for tattoo courses, apprenticeships, jobs, kits, temporary tattoos and ideas. Send each click to the page for that service, with before and after examples and the full enquiry form, and measure consultations booked.

What is included

Exactly what you get.

Campaigns built around what people search when they are ready to buy

Negative keywords, so your budget goes on the searches that turn into work

A landing page that matches the ad, so visitors land on the offer they clicked

Conversion tracking, so you judge the campaign on enquiries

Budget set to what the enquiries are worth to you

Not included. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from anything Coltura charges. If your site is not ready to convert, we will say so before taking the work.

Built for tattoo shops

Made for your trade.

Every trade asks something different of its website. For a tattoo shop, these are the parts built in.

  • A page for each resident artist with their styles, healed and fresh work, and a clear books-open or books-closed line.
  • An enquiry form that asks for placement, size, colour, references and preferred artist, and confirms the client is 18 or over.
  • A studio page covering council registration, hygiene practice, deposits and the minimum charge in plain terms.
  • A standalone aftercare page written for clients to reread through the healing weeks.
  • A guest spots page that can be updated with dates and a booking route for each visit.
  • Your Google Business Profile completed with interior photos and hours, and tracking on enquiries so you can see where they came from.

Questions

The ones that come up.

What should I budget?

Work backwards from what one job is worth. For example, if a typical job nets you £800 and one enquiry in three becomes a job, each enquiry is worth more than a business selling £40 services can spend. For some trades, ads do not pay at all, and we will tell you.

Can I run ads before rebuilding the site?

You can, but you will usually be buying traffic for a page that loses it. A free Growth Audit will tell you which of the two is costing you more.

What does a studio rebuild cost, and how long does it take?

Growth Websites start at £1,400, one-off, with about 14 working days of build once the direction is agreed and the artists' photos and details are in. The free Growth Audit comes first, so you see what would change before committing. Growth Care is optional at £149 a month. Cancel any time, with a month's notice.

Can the site handle flash days and convention weeks?

Yes. A flash day can have its own page with the date, the designs, the prices and how the queue or booking works, and a studio notice can cover weeks when an artist is away at a convention. Both are short updates that Growth Care handles when you send the details, so the site matches what you are posting.

Should the studio or each artist hold the Google listing?

The studio normally holds the Google Business Profile, because it is tied to the premises. Artists can be named in the description and posts, and each has a page on the website that people reach from the studio's listing. Reviews that name the artist and the style help the next client find the right person.

A free Growth Audit, done by hand: a written, prioritised audit of your website, with the three fixes worth making first. It is yours to keep.

We take on a limited number of builds at once, so there is usually a short wait before a new one starts. Once yours starts, it is about 14 working days from agreed direction to launch.
