Google Ads for welders and fabricators

Google Ads management for welders and fabricators, for clicks that turn into calls.

Ads show quickly whether your website converts, and money spent sending clicks to a weak page is lost. That is why the site comes first and the ads come second.

For welders and fabricators

What it means in your trade.

Ads make most sense for mobile repair work, where searches such as mobile welder near me come from someone with a job ready now. Keep them tight to your radius and the hours you can respond, and send clicks to the repair page. Gates and railings can also justify a spring campaign, since homeowners plan outdoor work then.

Exclude searches that are not jobs: welding courses, welding jobs, welder salary, welding equipment, welding supplies, how to weld. Structural work rarely comes from ads, so spend there only with a clear reason. Track calls and forms from ads to judge the return.

What is included

Exactly what you get.

Campaigns built around what people search when they are ready to buy

Negative keywords, so your budget goes on the searches that turn into work

A landing page that matches the ad, so visitors land on the offer they clicked

Conversion tracking, so you judge the campaign on enquiries

Budget set to what the enquiries are worth to you

Not included. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from anything Coltura charges. If your site is not ready to convert, we will say so before taking the work.

Built for welders and fabricators

Made for your trade.

Every trade asks something different of its website. For a welders and fabricator, these are the parts built in.

  • Separate routes from the homepage for homeowners, builders and architects, and repair customers.
  • Gallery pages organised by item, such as gates, railings, balustrades, staircases, structural steel and repairs.
  • A trade enquiry form with drawing upload, quantities and required dates.
  • A finishes page explaining galvanising, powder coating and painting in plain terms.
  • A mobile repair page with call and WhatsApp buttons and the area you cover.
  • Your Google Business Profile with categories and photos that match the work you want more of.

Questions

The ones that come up.

What should I budget?

Work backwards from what one job is worth. For example, if a typical job nets you £800 and one enquiry in three becomes a job, each enquiry is worth more than a business selling £40 services can spend. For some trades, ads do not pay at all, and we will tell you.

Can I run ads before rebuilding the site?

You can, but you will usually be buying traffic for a page that loses it. A free Growth Audit will tell you which of the two is costing you more.

How do I show work when the photos are on my phone?

Phone photos are fine if they show the finished item installed, with its surroundings. Coltura sorts them into galleries by item and adds a short caption with the material, finish and timescale. Workshop shots of a job in progress are useful too, especially for structural pieces the customer will never see once built in.

Can the site show my certification for structural work?

Yes. If you hold BS EN 1090 certification or have coded welders, the trade page explains what that means in a sentence and shows the details. Builders who need it look for it; smaller builders who do not know what it is learn why it matters. Nothing is shown that you do not hold.

Can the site bring in agricultural and plant repair work?

Yes, with a page describing the repairs you take on, such as trailers, buckets, gates and livestock equipment, whether you come to the farm or yard, and the area you cover. Photos of real repairs and a quick way to send pictures of the damage make it easy for a busy farmer or plant owner to get in touch.
