Google Ads for HVAC installers

Google Ads management for HVAC installers, for clicks that turn into calls.

Ads show quickly whether your website converts, and money spent sending clicks to a weak page is lost. That is why the site comes first and the ads come second.

For HVAC installers

What it means in your trade.

Domestic air conditioning ads only make sense in warm spells. Budget spent in November buys almost nothing; budget raised during a hot week, and cut as soon as the diary is full, is where the value is. Commercial ads are steadier and suit maintenance and refrigeration breakdown services, where a business is actively looking for a supplier.

Bid on the specific jobs within your area and exclude portable air conditioner searches, buying and retail phrases, DIY kits, jobs and courses. Every ad needs to open on the matching domestic or commercial service page. Tracking calls and forms separately shows which campaigns turned into surveys and contracts.

What is included

Exactly what you get.

Campaigns built around what people search when they are ready to buy

Negative keywords, so your budget goes on the searches that turn into work

A landing page that matches the ad, so visitors land on the offer they clicked

Conversion tracking, so you judge the campaign on enquiries

Budget set to what the enquiries are worth to you

Not included. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from anything Coltura charges. If your site is not ready to convert, we will say so before taking the work.

Built for HVAC installers

Made for your trade.

Every trade asks something different of its website. For an HVAC installer, these are the parts built in.

  • Two distinct paths from the homepage, one for home air conditioning and one for commercial HVAC and refrigeration
  • Your F-gas certification details and any manufacturer approvals, with a sentence on what each means
  • A domestic enquiry form that collects the room dimensions, a proposed position for the indoor unit and photos
  • A maintenance contract page setting out the visit schedule, the records kept and breakdown response for contract clients
  • A page on air-to-air heating for the cooler months, if your systems do it
  • Your Google Business Profile set up with the right categories and linked to the matching pages

What it costs

£1,400, one-off.

The site comes first, at £1,400 one-off. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is never marked up.

The free Growth Audit comes first either way, so you find out what is actually wrong before you spend anything.

Questions

The ones that come up.

What should I budget?

Work backwards from what one job is worth. For example, if a typical job nets you £800 and one enquiry in three becomes a job, each enquiry is worth more than a business selling £40 services can spend. For some trades, ads do not pay at all, and we will tell you.

Can I run ads before rebuilding the site?

You can, but you will usually be buying traffic for a page that loses it. A free Growth Audit will tell you which of the two is costing you more.

Do homeowners in flats need different information?

Often, yes. People in flats may need permission from a freeholder or managing agent before an outdoor unit goes on the wall, and they worry about noise and neighbours. A short section explaining what you need to know, and what options exist when an external unit is difficult, helps them before they enquire and saves you visits to jobs that cannot go ahead.

Can a website bring in maintenance contract work?

It removes the friction from asking. Set out the visit schedule, the checks carried out, the records you keep and the response contract clients get when a system fails, and a building manager has what they need to ask for a figure. A short form asking how many systems and sites are involved means you can price it without a long chain of emails.

What happens to my old site when you rebuild it?

We check which of your existing pages are earning visits and either keep them or redirect them to their replacements, so the value is not thrown away. Domain and hosting are moved across, forms are tested end to end, and we watch the site closely for a month after launch. You own the site, the domain and the content throughout.

Find out what your website is costing you.

A free Growth Audit, done by hand: a written, prioritised audit of your website, with the three fixes worth making first. It is yours to keep.

We take on a limited number of builds at once, so there is usually a short wait before a new one starts. Once yours starts, it is about 14 working days from agreed direction to launch.
