Google Ads for bricklayers
Google Ads management for bricklayers, for clicks that turn into calls.
Ads show quickly whether your website converts, and money spent sending clicks to a weak page is lost. That is why the site comes first and the ads come second.
For bricklayers
What it means in your trade.
Ads rarely suit bricklayers who mostly subcontract, because builders do not find you through ads. They can work for private jobs such as repointing or garden walls when you have gaps to fill. Bid on those specific jobs within your travel area, and exclude bricklaying courses, jobs, brick suppliers and DIY tutorials.

Keep the budget modest and the area tight, and send each ad to the matching service page with a photo upload form. An ad pointing at a homepage full of new-build photos will not convince someone with a crumbling chimney.
What is included
Exactly what you get.
Campaigns built around what people search when they are ready to buy
Negative keywords, so your budget goes on the searches that turn into work
A landing page that matches the ad, so visitors land on the offer they clicked
Conversion tracking, so you judge the campaign on enquiries
Budget set to what the enquiries are worth to you
Not included. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from anything Coltura charges. If your site is not ready to convert, we will say so before taking the work.
Built for bricklayers
Made for your trade.
Every trade asks something different of its website. For a bricklayer, these are the parts built in.
- Separate pages for the work you want more of, such as repointing, chimney rebuilds, extensions or garden walls, each saying what the job involves.
- A gallery built around close-up photos of joints, bonds and matched brick, captioned with the problem each job solved.
- A clear line on who you work for, private customers, builders or both, and how far you will travel.
- An enquiry form that lets people attach photos of the wall or chimney, with questions on access and timing.
- A section for contractors with your CSCS cards, insurance and gang size, and who to call to book you.
- Your Google Business Profile set up as a service-area business, with categories and photos that match your work.
What it costs
£1,400, one-off.
The site comes first, at £1,400 one-off. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is never marked up.
The free Growth Audit comes first either way, so you find out what is actually wrong before you spend anything.

Questions
The ones that come up.
What should I budget?
Work backwards from what one job is worth. For example, if a typical job nets you £800 and one enquiry in three becomes a job, each enquiry is worth more than a business selling £40 services can spend. For some trades, ads do not pay at all, and we will tell you.
Can I run ads before rebuilding the site?
You can, but you will usually be buying traffic for a page that loses it. A free Growth Audit will tell you which of the two is costing you more.
Does a subcontract bricklayer need a Google Business Profile?
It helps. Contractors new to an area often search for bricklayers on a map, and a profile with photos, the area you cover and a few reviews from builders or homeowners gives them something to check. Set it up as a service-area business if customers never visit your premises, so your home address stays private.
Will a new website bring in more private work?
The number depends on your area, your prices and the season. What a rebuild changes is how a homeowner who finds you judges you: whether they can see close-up work like theirs, understand what you do and send a useful enquiry with photos. Tracking on the new site then shows which pages and forms lead to calls, so you can see what is working.
How should a bricklayer handle quoting on the website?
Most bricklaying is priced after seeing the job, so fixed figures rarely suit. What helps is explaining what moves the cost, such as access, brick matching, height and scaffolding, and asking for photos up front. That lets you give a rough idea by message and only visit jobs that are likely to go ahead.

A free Growth Audit, done by hand: a written, prioritised audit of your website, with the three fixes worth making first. It is yours to keep.
We take on a limited number of builds at once, so there is usually a short wait before a new one starts. Once yours starts, it is about 14 working days from agreed direction to launch.
