Local SEO for CCTV installers
SEO for CCTV installers, so the people nearby find you.
Local search is mostly groundwork. Google needs to understand what you do, where you do it, and that other people vouch for you. Your site also has to be fast enough to be worth ranking.
For CCTV installers
What it means in your trade.
Security installation searches mix hiring and shopping. The hiring ones are what matter: CCTV installation, alarm installer, access control installer, doorbell camera fitted, commercial CCTV, alarm maintenance, each with an area. The groundwork is a page per service, domestic and commercial split where the buyer differs, area pages only for places you actually survey, and a Google Business Profile with installation categories and real workmanship photos.

Reviews that mention the system and the town (leaving out the street) help the next reader and respect the previous customer. Structured information on certification, services and areas lets search engines and AI tools describe you accurately. That is what the groundwork can do, and it is the part within your control.

Built for CCTV installers
Made for your trade.
Every trade asks something different of its website. For a CCTV installer, these are the parts built in.
- Separate pages for CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and monitoring, each split into domestic and commercial where the buyers differ.
- A certification section explaining what you hold and linking to where it can be verified, included only if it applies to you.
- A site survey request form that captures property type, what prompted the enquiry and preferred times.
- A gallery of workmanship photographed so that no client property or camera coverage can be identified.
- A fault reporting route for existing customers, separate from sales.
- Your Google Business Profile set up with installation categories and photos that match the website.
What it costs
Included in the rebuild.
There is no separate SEO invoice. The groundwork is part of the £1,400 rebuild, one-off, in about 14 working days.
The free Growth Audit comes first either way, so you find out what is actually wrong before you spend anything.

Questions
The ones that come up.
How long before SEO does anything?
The technical work lands immediately; rankings move over weeks to months. Be wary of any promise of page one within a month.
Do you do SEO as a monthly retainer?
The groundwork is part of the rebuild. Ongoing care at £149 a month keeps it maintained. There is no separate SEO retainer.
What if I am not NSI or SSAIB certificated?
Then the site does not suggest otherwise. It talks about what you do hold, such as insurance, experience with particular systems and the quality of your installation work, and it is honest about the kinds of jobs you take on. Some customers need a certificated installer for insurance or police response, and it is better for everyone if they know early.
Can customers book a survey online?
Yes. The survey form asks for the property type, what the customer wants to protect, anything that prompted the enquiry and preferred times. You confirm by phone or email. It is a request rather than live booking, so you keep control of your diary, but the details arrive ready for you to plan the visit.
How long does the rebuild take?
Usually about 14 working days of build once the direction is agreed and Coltura has your photos and details. The free Growth Audit of your current site comes first, within 48 hours of asking, so you can see what we propose before committing.
