Google Ads for driving instructors

Google Ads management for driving instructors, for clicks that turn into calls.

Ads show quickly whether your website converts, and money spent sending clicks to a weak page is lost. That is why the site comes first and the ads come second.

For driving instructors

What it means in your trade.

Ads suit instructors with gaps in the diary. A small, local campaign can fill specific hours, launch automatic lessons, or support a new independent in the first months. Bid on driving lessons and driving instructor plus your areas, and exclude searches for instructor training, ADI jobs, theory test practice, booking a test, car hire and franchise opportunities.

Point each advert at a page with prices, areas and an enquiry form. Track enquiries that became booked lessons, and pause the campaign when the diary fills.

What is included

Exactly what you get.

Campaigns built around what people search when they are ready to buy

Negative keywords, so your budget goes on the searches that turn into work

A landing page that matches the ad, so visitors land on the offer they clicked

Conversion tracking, so you judge the campaign on enquiries

Budget set to what the enquiries are worth to you

Not included. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from anything Coltura charges. If your site is not ready to convert, we will say so before taking the work.

Built for driving instructors

Made for your trade.

Every trade asks something different of its website. For a driving instructor, these are the parts built in.

  • Price pages for lessons, block bookings and any intensive courses, with cancellation terms.
  • Separate pages for manual and automatic lessons if you teach both, and for other lesson types you want more of.
  • An areas page with pick-up districts and the test centres you use, and a Google Business Profile service area to match.
  • A trust section showing ADI status, the car and its dual controls, and any pass rate with its method stated.
  • An enquiry form asking for area, manual or automatic, experience and availability, with a waiting list option when you are full.
  • Tracking on calls and enquiries, so you can see which pages lead to booked lessons.

What it costs

£1,400, one-off.

The site comes first, at £1,400 one-off. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is never marked up.

The free Growth Audit comes first either way, so you find out what is actually wrong before you spend anything.

Questions

The ones that come up.

What should I budget?

Work backwards from what one job is worth. For example, if a typical job nets you £800 and one enquiry in three becomes a job, each enquiry is worth more than a business selling £40 services can spend. For some trades, ads do not pay at all, and we will tell you.

Can I run ads before rebuilding the site?

You can, but you will usually be buying traffic for a page that loses it. A free Growth Audit will tell you which of the two is costing you more.

Can I advertise intensive courses on the site?

Yes, on a page of their own that explains how many hours are included, how the test is booked, and what happens if the test date moves or the pupil is not ready. Be careful not to promise a pass or a test date, since you control neither, and the ASA expects advertising claims to be accurate.

Can I have my own website while I am on a franchise?

Usually, but check your franchise agreement about branding, the car's livery and taking bookings directly. A site on your own domain holds your reviews and contact details whatever changes later, so starting it early lets your own reputation build up under your own name rather than the school's.

Can the site bring in refresher and older learners?

Yes. Refresher lessons, returning drivers and nervous drivers are separate searches, and each benefits from a page explaining who it suits, how lessons are adapted and the price. These pupils are often adults booking for themselves, so the tone and the photos should not assume a teenage learner.

Find out what your website is costing you.

A free Growth Audit, done by hand: a written, prioritised audit of your website, with the three fixes worth making first. It is yours to keep.

We take on a limited number of builds at once, so there is usually a short wait before a new one starts. Once yours starts, it is about 14 working days from agreed direction to launch.
