Google Ads for event caterers

Google Ads management for event caterers, for clicks that turn into calls.

Ads show quickly whether your website converts, and money spent sending clicks to a weak page is lost. That is why the site comes first and the ads come second.

For event caterers

What it means in your trade.

Ads can work for event catering because each booking is valuable and decisions are made well in advance. They make most sense in the planning months after the new year and ahead of the Christmas party season. Bid on event-type searches within the distance you travel, and exclude jobs, courses, recipes, cheap buffet searches and styles you do not offer.

Each ad should land on the matching page, such as wedding catering or corporate events, showing sample menus, a starting price and the tasting or enquiry form. Without that, a couple clicking an ad meets a generic homepage and goes back to the other caterers they were comparing.

What is included

Exactly what you get.

Campaigns built around what people search when they are ready to buy

Negative keywords, so your budget goes on the searches that turn into work

A landing page that matches the ad, so visitors land on the offer they clicked

Conversion tracking, so you judge the campaign on enquiries

Budget set to what the enquiries are worth to you

Not included. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from anything Coltura charges. If your site is not ready to convert, we will say so before taking the work.

Built for event caterers

Made for your trade.

Every trade asks something different of its website. For an event caterer, these are the parts built in.

  • Pages for each event type you want more of, such as weddings, corporate events and private parties, with sample menus and guide prices.
  • Venue pages for places you regularly work, built from your own photos and notes of events there.
  • An enquiry form that asks for date, venue, guest numbers, service style and dietary needs.
  • A clear account of what comes with the food: staff, crockery, linen, bar, setup and clearing.
  • A way to request a tasting, with how it works and whether it is charged.
  • Structured information about event types, areas covered and reviews, so search engines and AI assistants can describe the business accurately.

What it costs

£1,400, one-off.

The site comes first, at £1,400 one-off. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is never marked up.

The free Growth Audit comes first either way, so you find out what is actually wrong before you spend anything.

Questions

The ones that come up.

What should I budget?

Work backwards from what one job is worth. For example, if a typical job nets you £800 and one enquiry in three becomes a job, each enquiry is worth more than a business selling £40 services can spend. For some trades, ads do not pay at all, and we will tell you.

Can I run ads before rebuilding the site?

You can, but you will usually be buying traffic for a page that loses it. A free Growth Audit will tell you which of the two is costing you more.

Can people book a tasting through the website?

Yes. A tasting page can explain when tastings run, who they are for, whether there is a charge and whether it is refunded on booking, with a short form or a link to your calendar. Because the tasting is often the point where people decide, making it easy to request is one of the most useful things the site can do.

How do we show what is included beyond the food?

A simple section on each event page listing what comes as standard and what is extra: serving staff, chefs on site, crockery and cutlery, linen, a bar, setup and clearing, waste removal. Planners compare quotes line by line, and being clear stops you looking more expensive than a caterer whose quote leaves those things out.

Do wedding directories replace having our own website?

Directories can bring enquiries, but they show you beside every competitor and control how your work is presented. Your website is where you can show full events, explain your approach, publish sample menus and take enquiries with the details you need. Most couples who find you in a directory look up your own site before they get in touch.
