Landing pages for funeral directors
Landing page design for funeral directors, one page with one job.
A landing page exists to convert traffic you are already paying for. It has one offer, one piece of proof and one way to get in touch, with no navigation for visitors to wander off into.
For funeral directors
What it means in your trade.
A single-purpose page suits a funeral director for one clearly defined service: direct cremation, pre-planning advice evenings, a new branch opening, a memorial or remembrance service, or a bereavement support group you host. The page explains what it is, who it is for, the cost where relevant and how to get in touch.

It gives a newspaper advert, a community leaflet or an ad a gentle, focused destination, and lets you see whether that service is reaching the people it was meant for.

Questions
The ones that come up.
Do I need a landing page or a full website?
If you are running paid ads and sending that traffic to your homepage, a landing page is usually worth having. If you are not running ads yet, start with the website, because a landing page only works once traffic is pointed at it.
Can you write the page as well as build it?
Yes, that is most of the work. The writing is what makes a landing page convert; the design's job is to stay out of its way.
Should funeral notices be on our website?
If families agree, yes. Notices help the wider community find service times, venues, donation details and flower instructions. They are often among the most visited pages of a funeral director's site. They need to be easy for you to update and easy to remove when the family asks, and each notice should be written with care.
How do we explain funeral plans accurately?
Funeral plans are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, so the information must be accurate and must make clear who provides the plan. A plans page can explain what a plan covers, how it works with your firm and who to speak to. The wording should come from you and your plan provider; we present it clearly.
How can we show we are independent without criticising others?
By stating facts: the family behind the firm, how long you have served the area, who owns the business and who will care for families. Photos of the team and premises, and letters or reviews from families, show the difference without any need to compare. The tone should be quiet and confident, never defensive.
