Google Ads for gardeners
Google Ads management for gardeners, for clicks that turn into calls.
Ads show quickly whether your website converts, and money spent sending clicks to a weak page is lost. That is why the site comes first and the ads come second.
For gardeners
What it means in your trade.
For most gardeners, ads are hard to justify. The work is low in value per visit, the round is small, and word of mouth usually fills it. Where they can help is a new area you want to build density in, or seasonal jobs like hedge cutting and clearances. Keep the location tight to those postcodes and exclude jobs, apprenticeships, courses, tools and DIY terms.

The ad should land on a page for that job that states the area and has a short form. Sending paid clicks to a general home page wastes most of them.
What is included
Exactly what you get.
Campaigns built around what people search when they are ready to buy
Negative keywords, so your budget goes on the searches that turn into work
A landing page that matches the ad, so visitors land on the offer they clicked
Conversion tracking, so you judge the campaign on enquiries
Budget set to what the enquiries are worth to you
Not included. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from anything Coltura charges. If your site is not ready to convert, we will say so before taking the work.
Built for gardeners
Made for your trade.
Every trade asks something different of its website. For a gardener, these are the parts built in.
- A clear list or map of the areas your round covers, written so a visitor can tell in seconds whether they are in it.
- Separate pages for regular maintenance and one-off tidy-ups, each with its own short form.
- An availability line near the top that can be changed quickly: taking on clients, limited space, or waiting list only.
- A plain explanation of what a standard visit includes, how green waste is handled and how rained-off days are rearranged.
- Your Google Business Profile set up with a service area rather than a public home address, if you work from home.
- Recent photos from your social accounts brought onto the site so it does not look out of date.
What it costs
£1,400, one-off.
The site comes first, at £1,400 one-off. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is never marked up.
The free Growth Audit comes first either way, so you find out what is actually wrong before you spend anything.

Questions
The ones that come up.
What should I budget?
Work backwards from what one job is worth. For example, if a typical job nets you £800 and one enquiry in three becomes a job, each enquiry is worth more than a business selling £40 services can spend. For some trades, ads do not pay at all, and we will tell you.
Can I run ads before rebuilding the site?
You can, but you will usually be buying traffic for a page that loses it. A free Growth Audit will tell you which of the two is costing you more.
What about the months when there is less work?
The site can promote the jobs that suit autumn and winter: hedge cutting, leaf clearance, pruning, border renovation and planting bare-root hedging. Changing the emphasis on the home page as the season turns tells regulars and new customers what you can do now, instead of showing summer mowing all year.
Do I need lots of pages for a gardening business?
No. A gardener usually needs a handful: regular maintenance, one-off work, the areas you cover, about you, and contact. Depth comes from specifics on those pages, such as what is and is not included and how visits are arranged.
Who updates the site when my areas or availability change?
With Growth Care you send a message with the change, such as a new area or a switch to waiting list only, and it is handled for you within a fair monthly allowance. Without care, the site is still yours outright, so you can host it and have it edited however suits you.

Find out what your website is costing you.
A free Growth Audit, done by hand: a written, prioritised audit of your website, with the three fixes worth making first. It is yours to keep.
We take on a limited number of builds at once, so there is usually a short wait before a new one starts. Once yours starts, it is about 14 working days from agreed direction to launch.
