Google Ads for pest control firms
Google Ads management for pest control firms, for clicks that turn into calls.
Ads show quickly whether your website converts, and money spent sending clicks to a weak page is lost. That is why the site comes first and the ads come second.
For pest control firms
What it means in your trade.
Pest control often suits ads, because many searches are urgent and ready to book. Bid on pest-specific terms, especially wasps in summer and rodents from autumn, within the area you can reach quickly. Exclude DIY, poison, traps, spray, how to, jobs, training and courses, which attract people who plan to treat the problem themselves.

Send each ad to the page for that pest with a tap-to-call number and prices where you publish them. Pause wasp ads when the diary is full, and track calls to see which terms produce booked jobs.
What is included
Exactly what you get.
Campaigns built around what people search when they are ready to buy
Negative keywords, so your budget goes on the searches that turn into work
A landing page that matches the ad, so visitors land on the offer they clicked
Conversion tracking, so you judge the campaign on enquiries
Budget set to what the enquiries are worth to you
Not included. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from anything Coltura charges. If your site is not ready to convert, we will say so before taking the work.
Built for pest control firms
Made for your trade.
Every trade asks something different of its website. For a pest control firm, these are the parts built in.
- A page for each pest you treat, covering signs, the treatment, follow-up visits and safety.
- A qualifications section with your certificates, memberships and insurance.
- A commercial page explaining contracts, routine inspections, reporting and support for food hygiene inspections.
- A tap-to-call number and a short form that asks for the pest, the property type and the postcode.
- A safety page explaining how you protect pets, children and wildlife you are not targeting.
- Your Google Business Profile set up with pest control categories and a service area.

Questions
The ones that come up.
What should I budget?
Work backwards from what one job is worth. For example, if a typical job nets you £800 and one enquiry in three becomes a job, each enquiry is worth more than a business selling £40 services can spend. For some trades, ads do not pay at all, and we will tell you.
Can I run ads before rebuilding the site?
You can, but you will usually be buying traffic for a page that loses it. A free Growth Audit will tell you which of the two is costing you more.
Do I need a page for landlords and letting agents?
If you want that work, yes. Landlords and agents need clear communication with tenants, access arrangements, written reports and advice on who is responsible for what. A page describing how you handle rental properties, including several units in one block, makes you an easy contractor to call again.
How do I talk about humane or low-chemical methods?
Describe what you actually use and when. Some customers want non-lethal options for certain pests, or as little chemical use as possible. If you offer these, explain when they work and when they do not. Honest limits build more trust than claiming every job can be done without conventional treatments.
How should the website cope with the summer wasp rush?
Put a clear wasp page at the front during the season, with what you charge for a nest, how soon you can come and what the customer should avoid doing in the meantime. A notice when you are fully booked for the day saves calls you cannot take. Switch it back when the season ends.
