Local SEO for physiotherapists
SEO for physiotherapists, so the people nearby find you.
Local search is mostly groundwork. Google needs to understand what you do, where you do it, and that other people vouch for you. Your site also has to be fast enough to be worth ranking.
For physiotherapists
What it means in your trade.
Patients search with a problem or a service and a place: physio near me, sports massage, running injury physio, back pain physio, knee rehab after surgery, women's health physio, home visit physio. Local results lean heavily on the Google Business Profile, distance and reviews, so each location needs a complete profile with the right categories and hours. Replies to reviews should never confirm that someone was a patient.

The site adds a page for each service you want more of, written within the CAP Code, clinician profiles with HCPC registration, and locations stated plainly. That groundwork gives the clinic a credible, readable presence in the searches that fit it. It cannot fix where the clinic appears, which also depends on proximity and the clinics around you.
What is included
Exactly what you get.
Technical foundations: speed, mobile, crawlable structure, proper headings
Schema markup so your services, area and reviews are machine-readable
Google Business Profile set up and matched to the site
Pages for the places you actually cover
Titles and descriptions written for the person searching
Not included: paid links, ranking promises or impression-count reports. We report on enquiries.
Built for physiotherapists
Made for your trade.
Every trade asks something different of its website. For a physiotherapist, these are the parts built in.
- Clear routes from the homepage for self-paying, insured and referred patients, each ending at the right booking step.
- A fees page with the price and length of each appointment type, and your cancellation terms.
- Service pages written against the CAP Code, describing assessment and treatment approaches without promising outcomes.
- Clinician profiles with photos, HCPC registration, clinical interests and the days they are in clinic.
- Your practice system's online booking linked at the right appointment types, and a Google Business Profile for each location.
- Tracking on assessments booked from the site, so you can see which pages and campaigns lead to appointments.
What it costs
Included in the rebuild.
There is no separate SEO invoice. The groundwork is part of the £1,400 rebuild, one-off, in about 14 working days.
The free Growth Audit comes first either way, so you find out what is actually wrong before you spend anything.

Questions
The ones that come up.
How long before SEO does anything?
The technical work lands immediately; rankings move over weeks to months. Be wary of any promise of page one within a month.
Do you do SEO as a monthly retainer?
The groundwork is part of the rebuild. Ongoing care at £149 a month keeps it maintained. There is no separate SEO retainer.
We run two clinics. Do we need two websites?
No. One site with a page for each location works better: its own address, hours, clinicians, services and parking details, connected to its own Google Business Profile. Patients land on the right clinic, and the practice keeps one brand, one booking system and one set of fees to maintain.
How long does a clinic website rebuild take?
About 14 working days of build once the direction and structure are agreed and the content is in. Clinical sign-off of service pages often takes longest, so it helps to name one clinician to review copy. The free Growth Audit comes first and sets out what would change before you commit.
Will changing websites affect patients who find us through search now?
Existing pages that bring in visits are kept or redirected to their replacements, so the value they have built carries across rather than being lost. The current site is checked before anything is removed, and the month after launch is watched closely for any page that drops out of search.

Find out what your website is costing you.
A free Growth Audit, done by hand: a written, prioritised audit of your website, with the three fixes worth making first. It is yours to keep.
We take on a limited number of builds at once, so there is usually a short wait before a new one starts. Once yours starts, it is about 14 working days from agreed direction to launch.
