Google Ads for plant hire companies
Google Ads management for plant hire companies, for clicks that turn into calls.
Ads show quickly whether your website converts, and money spent sending clicks to a weak page is lost. That is why the site comes first and the ads come second.
For plant hire companies
What it means in your trade.
Ads can suit plant hire, particularly mini digger and dumper hire in spring and summer when homeowners and landscapers start projects. Bid on machine hire terms within your delivery radius, and exclude machines for sale, used plant, parts, training, operator vacancies and toy or model searches.

Send each ad to that machine's page, with specs, a rate or rate basis and a booking form. Turn campaigns down when a machine type is fully out on hire, so you are not paying for enquiries you cannot fill.
What is included
Exactly what you get.
Campaigns built around what people search when they are ready to buy
Negative keywords, so your budget goes on the searches that turn into work
A landing page that matches the ad, so visitors land on the offer they clicked
Conversion tracking, so you judge the campaign on enquiries
Budget set to what the enquiries are worth to you
Not included. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from anything Coltura charges. If your site is not ready to convert, we will say so before taking the work.
Built for plant hire companies
Made for your trade.
Every trade asks something different of its website. For a plant hire company, these are the parts built in.
- A page for each machine type with real photos, key specs and compatible attachments.
- A clear statement of self-drive and operated hire, and what each includes.
- Delivery areas and charges, or the basis they are worked out on.
- A booking request form with dates, machine, delivery address and attachments.
- Your insurance requirements and hire terms explained in plain words.
- Your Google Business Profile set up with the depot address, opening hours and photos of the fleet.
What it costs
£1,400, one-off.
The site comes first, at £1,400 one-off. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is never marked up.
The free Growth Audit comes first either way, so you find out what is actually wrong before you spend anything.

Questions
The ones that come up.
What should I budget?
Work backwards from what one job is worth. For example, if a typical job nets you £800 and one enquiry in three becomes a job, each enquiry is worth more than a business selling £40 services can spend. For some trades, ads do not pay at all, and we will tell you.
Can I run ads before rebuilding the site?
You can, but you will usually be buying traffic for a page that loses it. A free Growth Audit will tell you which of the two is costing you more.
Should the site mention used machines for sale?
If you sell ex-hire plant, a separate page helps, kept apart from hire so buyers and hirers are not confused. List machines with photos, hours and price, and update it as stock sells. If you do not sell machines, say so, which cuts down on calls you cannot help with.
Will a new site mean more hires?
That depends on demand as much as the site. What changes is how easily a hirer who finds you can see your machines, specs and delivery terms and send a booking request. Tracking shows which machine pages lead to enquiries, which helps you decide what to promote and which pages need better photos or detail.
What do I need to provide for the new site?
Photos of your actual machines, a fleet list with specs, your delivery areas and charges, and your hire terms. Coltura writes the copy after a short conversation, so there is little else. If your fleet changes often, it is worth agreeing at the start how updates will reach the site.
