Google Ads for electricians

Google Ads management for electricians, for clicks that turn into calls.

Ads show quickly whether your website converts, and money spent sending clicks to a weak page is lost. That is why the site comes first and the ads come second.

For electricians

What it means in your trade.

Ads suit planned electrical jobs better than emergencies. EV chargers, consumer units and rewires are researched over days, so a well-built page has time to persuade. Emergency electrical ads only pay if you genuinely answer at the hours they run, and the clicks can be expensive for what they turn into.

Bid on the named jobs within the area you cover, and exclude electrician jobs, courses and apprenticeships, DIY searches, and parts or trade counters. Every ad should open on the page for that job, with your registration, photos and a short form. Calls and forms are tracked separately, so you can see whether a campaign is bringing in work.

What is included

Exactly what you get.

Campaigns built around what people search when they are ready to buy

Negative keywords, so your budget goes on the searches that turn into work

A landing page that matches the ad, so visitors land on the offer they clicked

Conversion tracking, so you judge the campaign on enquiries

Budget set to what the enquiries are worth to you

Not included. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from anything Coltura charges. If your site is not ready to convert, we will say so before taking the work.

Built for electricians

Made for your trade.

Every trade asks something different of its website. For an electrician, these are the parts built in.

  • A page for each job you want more of, such as rewires, consumer units and EV chargers, with photos from your own installs
  • Your scheme registration shown with the business name and number, and a sentence on what it means for the customer
  • A landlord and letting agent page with a form for tenant details, access and invoicing
  • A short, dated note on your current lead time, positioned on the homepage where people see it
  • The areas you cover written out in plain text, on the site and on your Google Business Profile
  • Call and form tracking, so you can see which kinds of job the site is bringing in

What it costs

£1,400, one-off.

The site comes first, at £1,400 one-off. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is never marked up.

The free Growth Audit comes first either way, so you find out what is actually wrong before you spend anything.

Questions

The ones that come up.

What should I budget?

Work backwards from what one job is worth. For example, if a typical job nets you £800 and one enquiry in three becomes a job, each enquiry is worth more than a business selling £40 services can spend. For some trades, ads do not pay at all, and we will tell you.

Can I run ads before rebuilding the site?

You can, but you will usually be buying traffic for a page that loses it. A free Growth Audit will tell you which of the two is costing you more.

I mostly get work through builders. Does my website matter?

Yes, because the homeowner usually looks you up after the builder mentions your name. If they find a clear site with your registration, photos of finished work and a way to contact you, the recommendation holds. If they find nothing, or a site that looks abandoned, they may ask the builder for someone else. The site backs up the relationships you already have.

What if I add a new service like battery storage next year?

It gets a page once you start offering it. With Growth Care, adding a page for a new service or area is part of what is covered, so you send the details and photos and it is built for you. Keeping the site in line with the work you do is what stops it drifting out of date within a year.

How long does it take to rebuild an electrician website?

About fourteen working days of build once we have agreed the direction and have your photos, registration details and the list of work you want. The free audit comes first, within 48 hours of you asking for it, and you see the real site on a private link while it is being built.

Find out what your website is costing you.

A free Growth Audit, done by hand: a written, prioritised audit of your website, with the three fixes worth making first. It is yours to keep.

We take on a limited number of builds at once, so there is usually a short wait before a new one starts. Once yours starts, it is about 14 working days from agreed direction to launch.
