Local SEO for electricians

SEO for electricians, so the people nearby find you.

Local search is mostly groundwork. Google needs to understand what you do, where you do it, and that other people vouch for you. Your site also has to be fast enough to be worth ranking.

For electricians

What it means in your trade.

Domestic electrical searches are mostly local and specific: electrician near me, EV charger installer, consumer unit replacement, house rewire, EICR for landlords. The groundwork is a page for each of those jobs you want, with the areas you cover in plain text, clear titles and descriptions, sensible internal links and a site that loads quickly on a phone.

The map listing often gets the first look, so your Google Business Profile is set up with the right category, the services and areas you cover, and photos of real installs, linked to the matching pages. Reviews that mention the job help most, and the best time to ask is when the certificate goes out. This builds the foundation for being found locally; it cannot promise a position against directories and national networks.

What is included

Exactly what you get.

Technical foundations: speed, mobile, crawlable structure, proper headings

Schema markup so your services, area and reviews are machine-readable

Google Business Profile set up and matched to the site

Pages for the places you actually cover

Titles and descriptions written for the person searching

Not included: paid links, ranking promises or impression-count reports. We report on enquiries.

Built for electricians

Made for your trade.

Every trade asks something different of its website. For an electrician, these are the parts built in.

  • A page for each job you want more of, such as rewires, consumer units and EV chargers, with photos from your own installs
  • Your scheme registration shown with the business name and number, and a sentence on what it means for the customer
  • A landlord and letting agent page with a form for tenant details, access and invoicing
  • A short, dated note on your current lead time, positioned on the homepage where people see it
  • The areas you cover written out in plain text, on the site and on your Google Business Profile
  • Call and form tracking, so you can see which kinds of job the site is bringing in

What it costs

Included in the rebuild.

There is no separate SEO invoice. The groundwork is part of the £1,400 rebuild, one-off, in about 14 working days.

The free Growth Audit comes first either way, so you find out what is actually wrong before you spend anything.

Questions

The ones that come up.

How long before SEO does anything?

The technical work lands immediately; rankings move over weeks to months. Be wary of any promise of page one within a month.

Do you do SEO as a monthly retainer?

The groundwork is part of the rebuild. Ongoing care at £149 a month keeps it maintained. There is no separate SEO retainer.

I mostly get work through builders. Does my website matter?

Yes, because the homeowner usually looks you up after the builder mentions your name. If they find a clear site with your registration, photos of finished work and a way to contact you, the recommendation holds. If they find nothing, or a site that looks abandoned, they may ask the builder for someone else. The site backs up the relationships you already have.

What if I add a new service like battery storage next year?

It gets a page once you start offering it. With Growth Care, adding a page for a new service or area is part of what is covered, so you send the details and photos and it is built for you. Keeping the site in line with the work you do is what stops it drifting out of date within a year.

How long does it take to rebuild an electrician website?

About fourteen working days of build once we have agreed the direction and have your photos, registration details and the list of work you want. The free audit comes first, within 48 hours of you asking for it, and you see the real site on a private link while it is being built.

A free Growth Audit, done by hand: a written, prioritised audit of your website, with the three fixes worth making first. It is yours to keep.
