Google Ads for piling contractors

Google Ads management for piling contractors, for clicks that turn into calls.

Ads show quickly whether your website converts, and money spent sending clicks to a weak page is lost. That is why the site comes first and the ads come second.

For piling contractors

What it means in your trade.

Ads can work for mini piling and screw piles for extensions, where homeowners and builders search directly. Bid on specific piling and underpinning terms in your area, and exclude vacancies, courses, rigs for sale and equipment hire.

The landing page should explain the process, show a small rig on a domestic site and have a form for engineer's drawings. Keep budgets modest: searches are few, and the value of each job means a handful of good enquiries matters more than a large number of clicks.

What is included

Exactly what you get.

Campaigns built around what people search when they are ready to buy

Negative keywords, so your budget goes on the searches that turn into work

A landing page that matches the ad, so visitors land on the offer they clicked

Conversion tracking, so you judge the campaign on enquiries

Budget set to what the enquiries are worth to you

Not included. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from anything Coltura charges. If your site is not ready to convert, we will say so before taking the work.

Built for piling contractors

Made for your trade.

Every trade asks something different of its website. For a piling contractor, these are the parts built in.

  • Pages for each pile type you install, explaining where it suits and what information you need to design it.
  • Case studies with ground conditions, pile type, depth range and any testing, written for an engineer.
  • A plain explanation for homeowners of what piling involves, how long it takes and what the garden looks like afterwards.
  • An enquiry form that accepts drawings, engineer's specifications and site investigation reports.
  • An accreditations section with the schemes and memberships you hold.
  • Your Google Business Profile set up with a service area matching the region you cover.

What it costs

£1,400, one-off.

The site comes first, at £1,400 one-off. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is never marked up.

The free Growth Audit comes first either way, so you find out what is actually wrong before you spend anything.

Questions

The ones that come up.

What should I budget?

Work backwards from what one job is worth. For example, if a typical job nets you £800 and one enquiry in three becomes a job, each enquiry is worth more than a business selling £40 services can spend. For some trades, ads do not pay at all, and we will tell you.

Can I run ads before rebuilding the site?

You can, but you will usually be buying traffic for a page that loses it. A free Growth Audit will tell you which of the two is costing you more.

Do I need an accreditations section?

If you hold CHAS, Constructionline, membership of the Federation of Piling Specialists or similar, list them. Main contractors and developers check these at pre-qualification. For domestic clients, insurance and who takes design responsibility matter more, so explain those as well in plain words on the homeowner pages.

Can the site help with underpinning work?

If you do underpinning, give it its own page. Homeowners with subsidence often come through insurers, loss adjusters or engineers, and want to understand the process and how long they will be disrupted. Explaining how you work alongside insurers and engineers, without promising anything about the claim itself, is useful and reassuring.

Will a new site bring in more piling work?

That depends on the market as much as the site. It makes you easier to check and easier to send details to, which matters in a trade where work comes through engineers and builders. Tracking on the new site shows how many people use the drawings upload form, which is a useful measure of whether it is working.
