Google Ads for it support companies

Google Ads management for it support companies, for clicks that turn into calls.

Ads show quickly whether your website converts, and money spent sending clicks to a weak page is lost. That is why the site comes first and the ads come second.

For it support companies

What it means in your trade.

Ads can make sense for IT support because a managed services client is worth a lot over time, but many searches come from home users and people wanting free help. Bid on business terms such as managed IT support and IT support for small business within the area you cover, and exclude jobs, courses, certifications, free, help desk software and consumer brand support lines.

The landing page should be the business support page with what a contract covers, how pricing works, response times and a short consultation form. Sending clicks to a page that also offers phone screen repairs confuses business buyers. Tracking forms and calls first shows which searches bring contracts.

What is included

Exactly what you get.

Campaigns built around what people search when they are ready to buy

Negative keywords, so your budget goes on the searches that turn into work

A landing page that matches the ad, so visitors land on the offer they clicked

Conversion tracking, so you judge the campaign on enquiries

Budget set to what the enquiries are worth to you

Not included. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from anything Coltura charges. If your site is not ready to convert, we will say so before taking the work.

Built for it support companies

Made for your trade.

Every trade asks something different of its website. For an it support company, these are the parts built in.

  • Separate paths for business support and home or small repairs, each with its own services, prices and contact route.
  • A managed services page explaining what a contract covers, response times and how pricing works.
  • Pages for the services you want more of, such as cyber security, Microsoft 365, backups or network installs.
  • A switching page that explains how you take over from a previous provider.
  • A clear support link for existing clients, pointing to your helpdesk or ticket system.
  • Certifications and partner status explained, with the areas you cover on site stated plainly.

What it costs

£1,400, one-off.

The site comes first, at £1,400 one-off. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is never marked up.

The free Growth Audit comes first either way, so you find out what is actually wrong before you spend anything.

Questions

The ones that come up.

What should I budget?

Work backwards from what one job is worth. For example, if a typical job nets you £800 and one enquiry in three becomes a job, each enquiry is worth more than a business selling £40 services can spend. For some trades, ads do not pay at all, and we will tell you.

Can I run ads before rebuilding the site?

You can, but you will usually be buying traffic for a page that loses it. A free Growth Audit will tell you which of the two is costing you more.

Is it worth explaining Cyber Essentials on our site?

Yes. Many business owners have heard of it through suppliers, insurers or public sector tenders, but do not know what it involves. A clear page explaining what it is, whether you hold it, and how you help clients achieve it is useful to buyers and shows expertise. The technical details should come from you.

How do we show that switching provider is not a risk?

Explain the process: an initial audit, documenting existing systems, handover of passwords and licences, and a planned date for taking over support. Many businesses stay with poor providers because they fear disruption. A page setting out the steps and what the client needs to do gives them the confidence to change.

How do we get reviews from business clients?

Ask after a successful project or at a regular review meeting, and give a direct link. Reviews that describe response times, problems solved and how easy you are to work with are the most persuasive. With permission, a short case study naming the client's sector and the problem you solved carries even more weight than a star rating.
